Privacy Policy
Effective date: 14 August 2026
9Digit.gm is a Holareh service. This Privacy Policy explains how the 9Digit Android app and the 9Digit.gm website handle information.
1. Contact access
The Android app requests permission to read and update contacts so it can check eligible Gambian phone numbers, show proposed changes, update approved eligible numbers, and support undo of the last update. Contact processing is performed locally on the device.
2. Local undo backup
Before an update, 9Digit may create a minimal local undo backup inside the app's private storage. It is used to restore phone numbers if the user chooses Undo Last Update. The backup is not intentionally uploaded to the 9Digit website or a 9Digit server.
3. Internet use and payments
The core contact-checking and contact-update functions are designed to work offline. When Wave payment integration is enabled, an internet connection will be required for the payment process and payment confirmation. Payment information handled by Wave is subject to Wave's own terms and privacy practices. 9Digit will not send your contact list to Wave as part of payment processing.
4. Website
The public 9Digit.gm website is an informational site for product information, support, and this Privacy Policy. Contact conversion is not performed on the public website.
5. Advertising
9Digit does not contain advertising in the current release.
6. Data sale
9Digit does not sell users' contact information.
7. Security
9Digit is designed to minimise the information it retains. Contact processing is kept on the device, and local app data is intended to remain private to the app. No system can guarantee absolute security, so users should keep their devices protected and up to date.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when 9Digit adds or changes features, including payment functionality. The current version will be published on this page with its effective date.
9. Developer
9Digit.gm is developed by Holareh.
